Description

Nozomi Mochizuki is an ordinary 23-year-old woman living an average life in the big city—maybe not happy, but good enough, even if it gets a little lonely. Then one day, she meets Kiara, a foreign otaku who's come to Japan to buy all the cute girl figurines she can carry. Giving Kiara directions and helping with her bags turns into a trip to an izakaya together, and then a drunken hookup in Kiara's hotel room. The morning after, Kiara awkwardly rushes off to the airport, but as Nozomi watches her drive away, she realizes that she doesn't want this to be the end. Kiara made Nozomi feel a joy and wonder she hadn't felt since her childhood in the countryside, and she's determined to feel it again, even if that means throwing everything away and hopping on a plane to the sun-soaked South Pacific island Kiara calls home. Kiara's got troubles of her own, and a surprise visit from a ride-or-die one-night stand is the last thing she wants—but it might turn out to be just what she needs.
